TASI rises 1.5% to 11,679 points, total turnover at SAR 9.1B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.5%, or 175 points, higher at 11,679 points today, Aug. 6.
Total turnover reached about SAR 9.1 billion.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco rose more than 1% to SAR 27.20 amid trading of about 25 million shares worth nearly SAR 700 million.
The company’s Q2 2024 earnings came in slightly higher than market estimates, paying basic and performance-related cash dividends at SAR 0.48 per share.
Al Rajhi Bank closed at SAR 85 (+1%).
Dar Al Arkan jumped 3% to SAR 13.56 following Q2 2024 financial results.
Emaar EC, Al Sagr Finance, SFICO, Miahona and TALCO went up nearly 10%.
