TASI rises 0.5% to 11,797 points, total turnover at SAR 5.5B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.5%, or 56 points, higher at 11,797 points today, Aug. 13.
Total turnover reached about SAR 5.5 billion.

Market Index

Saudi Aramco rose 1% to SAR 28.20, with about 15 million shares worth more than SAR 400 million traded.
 
SGS went up nearly 10% to SAR 51.20. The company won a SAR 1.5 billion contract to provide ground handling services at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
 
Saudi Paper gained 2% to SAR 66.10 after announcing a cash dividend.
 
Al Rajhi Takaful gained 6% to SAR 196.20.
