TASI gains 0.7% to 12,187 points, total turnover at SAR 9B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.7%, or 84 points, higher at 12,187 points today, Aug. 21, recording the highest close in a month.
 
Total turnover reached about SAR 9 billion.
 
The index rose for the seventh consecutive session, gaining nearly 450 points, or 3.8%.

Market Index

Al Rajhi Bank and Saudi National Bank rose 3% to SAR 89.10 and SAR 36.85, respectively.
 
Zoujaj, Red Sea, Shams, SIIG, and Dar Almarkabah increased between 3% and 7%.
 
Retal and Saudi Re closed at all-time highs, rising 1% to SAR 13.24 and SAR 37.55, respectively.
