TASI falls 0.4% to 12,128, total turnover at SAR 7.5B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.4%, or 52 points, lower at 12,128 points today, Sept. 4.

Total turnover reached about SAR 7.5 billion.

Market Index

Saudi Aramco fell 1% to SAR 27.65.
 
SABIC closed at SAR 74.10 (-2%) after going ex-dividend.
 
Americana, NCLE, GASCO, Alamar, Knowledge City and Umm Al-Qura Cement declined 2% and 4%.
 
JAZADCO slipped more than 2% to SAR 13.84. The company’s board approved the permanent closure of the first production line.

On the other hand,  Al-Baha rose 8% to SAR 0.14, with nearly 144 million shares traded. The company’s board decided to cancel its recommendation to reduce its capital by lowering the stock’s par value.
 
Saudi Fisheries was the top gainer, rising almost 10%.
 
AlAhli REIT 1 Fund closed at SAR 7.85 (-3%) after going ex-dividend.
 
Alistithmar REIT declined 5% to SAR 9.50 (- SAR 0.50 compared to the listing price of SAR 10) amid trading of about 700,000 units.
