TASI falls 1% to 11,982 points, turnover at SAR 5B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 1% or 117 points, to 11,982 points today, Sept. 8.
Total turnover reached about SAR 5 billion.
The decline in the Saudi market coincides with the drop in the oil prices, as Brent and Nymex falling 2%.
On Sept. 5, OPEC decided to extend its production cuts of 2.2 million barrels per day through November.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank declined to SAR 27.30 (-1%) and SAR 87 (-2%), respectively.
Saudi National Bank, Sulaiman Al Habib, stc, Almarai, Maaden and Etihad Etisalat declined between 1% and 3%.

On the other hand, SEICO rose nearly 10% to SAR 3.05, bringing total gains since the start of the month to about 30%.
Al-Baha jumped 7% to SAR 0.16 amid trading of about 140 million shares.
Alkhabeer REIT edged down 2% to SAR 6 with almost 2 million units traded, the highest since March 2023.
