TASI rises 1.1% to 12,268 points, records highest close since May
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.1%, or 139 points, higher at 12,268 points today, Sept. 24, recording the highest close since May.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 7.5 billion.
Trading resumed today after the market was closed for the National Day celebration on Sept. 23.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank and Saudi Aramco rose by about 1% to SAR 89.90 and SAR 27.55, respectively.
ACWA Power jumped by 7% to SAR 448.
Maaden, Saudi Kayan, Yansab, SABIC, SABIC AN and AMAK increased between 2% and 5%.
Saudi Fisheries rose nearly 10% to SAR 25.75, with about 10 million shares worth SAR 243 million traded. The stock is up more than 30% since the beginning of the month.
Red Sea closed at SAR 68.50 (+10%), recording the highest close since 2015. More than 4 million shares changed hands.
