TASI rises 1.2% to 11,914 points, turnover at SAR 7B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.2%, or 145 points, higher at 11,914 points today, Oct. 7.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 7 billion.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank rose by 5% to SAR 84.20, with more than 7.2 million shares worth SAR 600 million traded.
Almajed Oud jumped by 30% on debut, reaching SAR 122.20 (+SAR 28.20 compared to the listing price), amid trading of about 226,000 shares.
Al-Baha, Red Sea, Al-Omran and Anaam rose by 10%.
Almarai gained by 2% to SAR 56.50. The company’s subsidiary signed an agreement to acquire Jordan’s Hammoudeh Food Industries for SAR 263 million.
