TASI up 0.8% to 11,949 points, turnover at SAR 4.9B
Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 0.8%, or 99 points, to close at 11,949 points today, Dec. 23. The total turnover reached nearly SAR 4.9 billion.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank jumped 3% to SAR 92.80.
Several other lenders also edged up, with SNB, Bank Albilad, Alinma Bank, Bank AlJazira, Riyad Bank, and Arab National Bank registering gains between 1% and 3%.
In addition, shares of SABIC, Elm and Riyadh Cables also climbed between 1% and 3%.
MEDGULF shares rose by 4% to SAR 23.52. The insurer signed a contract with Saudi Electricity Co. worth more than 40% of its revenues in 2023.
