TASI falls 1.2% to 11,412 pts, turnover at SAR 3.5B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.2%, or 132 points, lower at 11,412 points today, May 4, recording its lowest close in about a month.
 
Total turnover reached about SAR 3.5 billion, the lowest in nearly a month and a half.
 
The market’s decline coincided with a drop in oil prices and the OPEC+’s decision to increase oil production by 411,000 barrels per day in June.

Market Index

Saudi Aramco, ACWA Power, and Saudi National Bank fell between 1% and 2%.
 
SABIC declined 3% to SAR 59.60 after reporting losses of SAR 1.21 billion in Q1 2025.
 
Zahrat Al Waha dropped by more than 7% to close at SAR 27.70.
 
stc closed at SAR 45.90 (-2%) after going ex-dividend.
