Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.5%, or 164 points, lower at 10,841 points today, June 12.
Total turnover reached about SAR 5.3 billion.
The market's decline came amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco, Al Rajhi Bank, Saudi National Bank, SABIC, and ACWA Power fell between 1% and 2%.
Red Sea and Saudi Steel Pipe were top decliners, shedding more than 5%.
