TASI rises 0.6% to 11,316 pts, total turnover at SAR 4.3B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.6%, or 71 points, higher at 11,316 points today, July 6.
Total turnover stood at about SAR 4.3 billion.
Market Index
ACWA Power shares climbed 8% to SAR 265.6, while its rights surged 68% on their debut, reaching SAR 60.45 per share. Around one million rights were traded at a total value of SAR 54 million.
Cenomi Retail closed at SAR 29.82 (+3%) amid heavy trading of approximately 12 million shares worth more than SAR 360 million. The company announced that a strategic investor is seeking to acquire up to a 49.95% stake, with negotiations ongoing with several substantial shareholders.
SAPTCO, Naseej, MEPCO, Miahona, Emaar EC, MEDGULF, Halwani Bros, Dar Al Arkan, Yamama Cement, and SHL rose by 2% to 6%.
