TASI rises 0.6% to 10,897 pts, total turnover at SAR 3.2B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.6%, or 64 points, higher at 10,897 points today, Aug. 17.
Total turnover stood at about SAR 3.2 billion.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank rose by less than 1% to SAR 24.16 and SAR 94.90, respectively.
Sport Clubs, Saudi Azm, Ataa, Dar Al Arkan, TADCO, East Pipes, and Development Works Food gained between 3% and 5%.
Arabian Drilling increased by more than 1% to SAR 74.70. The company announced a one-year extension of contracts for 11 onshore gas drilling rigs.
Lazurde was the top gainer, rising more than 9% to SAR 13.50. Nearly 3 million shares changed hands.
