TASI slips 0.3% to 10,697 pts, closes at over 2-month low
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) edged down 0.3%, or 35 points, to close at 10,697 points today, Aug. 31 – the lowest level in more than two months.
Traded value stood at nearly SAR 3.2 billion, the lowest level since last March.

On stock performance, SABIC AN fell by 5% to SAR 114.80.
Petro Rabigh shed over 5% to SAR 7.01 after about five million shares changed hands. The company announced on Sunday the board’s recommendation on raising capital by 31.5% through a private placement to founding shareholders. In a second step, the company’s board proposed a capital reduction by reducing par value.
Tabuk Cement finished 3% down at SAR 10.36. Having traded ex-dividend, CATRION lost 1% to SAR 99.20.
