TASI rises 0.9% to 10,519 pts, turnover at SAR 4.3B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.9%, or 92 points, higher at 10,519 points today, Sept. 16.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 4.3 billion.
The benchmark opened at 10,430 points, touching a high of 10,519 points and a low of 10,407 points during the session.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank rose by 1% to SAR 92.
Saudi National Bank, Almarai, SABIC, Bank Albilad, SIIG and SRMG increased between 1% and 4%.
Cenomi Retail was the top gainer, surging 10% to SAR 28.68. Nearly 4 million shares changed hands. The company acquired a 49.95% stake in Al-Futtaim Retail Co. through negotiated deals.
Al Majdiah gained 4% to close at SAR 12.21, with more than 10 million shares traded.
