TASI rises 0.5% to 11,674 pts, turnover at SAR 5.6B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 0.5%, or 54 points, to 11,674 points today, Oct. 28.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 5.6 billion.
The benchmark opened at 11,615 points, touching a high of 11,693 points and a low of 11,615 points during the session.

Market Index

Aramco rose by less than 1% to SAR 25.88.
 
Saudi National Bank and ACWA Power closed up 2% at SAR 39.98 and SAR 240.60, respectively.
 
East Pipes gained more than 3% to SAR 142.60 after the company announced its financial results and cash dividend.
 
ARTEX was the top gainer, rising 10%.
 
Astra Industrial, Care and First Mills rose between 1% and  3%.

On the other hand, Leejam Sports was the top decliner, falling 10% to SAR 133.50. The company’s third-quarter financial results fell short of market estimates.
 
UCA closed at SAR 4.64 (-8%) after the company was suspended from issuing and renewing mandatory insurance policies.
