TASI falls 1% to 10,382 pts, lowest close since Oct. 2023

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 1%, or 108 points, to 10,382 points today, Dec. 30, recording its lowest close since October 2023.

Total turnover reached nearly SAR 3.2 billion.

The index’s losses reached about 14% or more than 1650 points since the start of 2025, compared to the close of 2024. The index recorded its steepest annual percentage and points decline since 2015 and 2008, respectively.

The benchmark opened at 10,460 points, touched a high of 10,468 points, and slipped to a low of 10,339 points.

Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank fell by less than 1% to SAR 23.62 and SAR 96.60, respectively.

Maaden closed at SAR 60.80 (-3%).

Raoom, Al Khaleej Training, SISCO, Dallah Healthcare and Flynas fell by between 4 and 7%.

Almasar Alshamil was the top decliner, falling 8%, with more than 5 million shares valued at SAR 130 million changing hands.

Meanwhile, CHUBB was the top gainer, rising 3% to SAR 20.74 after signing a contract with Saudi Electricity Co.

Al Yamamah Steel and Care rose by 2%.

Southern Cement increased by less than 1% to SAR 21.86 after announcing a cash dividend.
