TASI falls 0.3% to 10,291 pts, records lowest close in 34 months
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.3%, or 34 points, lower at 10,291 points today, Jan. 6, recording the lowest close in about 34 months.
Total turnover reached about SAR 3.6 billion.
The benchmark opened at 10,324 points, touched a high of 10,362 points, and slipped to a low of 10,281 points.
With today’s decline, the index’s losses since the beginning of the year reached about 200 points, or nearly 2%, compared with the close of 2025.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank fell by 1% to SAR 95.95.
Riyad Bank, stc, SNB, SAB, ACWA Power, Almarai, BSF, ANB, and Tawuniya declined between 1% and 3%.
Burgerizzr was the top decliner, dropping 8%.
NCLE, Aldrees, and SASCO fell between 5% and 6%.
