TASI rises 1.6% to 10,455 pts; turnover hits SAR 6B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.6%, or 164 points, higher at 10,455 points today, Jan. 7.
Total turnover reached about SAR 6 billion.
The benchmark opened at 10,504 points, touching a high of 10,547 points (+256 points from the close on Jan. 6) and a low of 10,369 points during the session.
The Capital Market Authority decided to open the financial market to all categories of foreign investors, enabling them to invest directly from Feb. 1.

Market Index

Al Rajhi Bank rose by 3% to SAR 99.25, while SNB closed at SAR 40.04 (+6%).
 
Saudi Aramco edged up by 1% to SAR 23.58.
 
Alinma Bank, SABIC, stc, Riyad Bank, ACWA Power, Bank Albilad, Dar Al Arkan, and Almarai gained between 1% and 4%.
 
SRMG was the top gainer, rising 8%.
 
Tadawul Group jumped by 5% with about 3 million shares valued at over SAR 400 million traded - the highest in three years.

SEDCO Capital REIT rose by 4% to SAR 6.92 after announcing dividends for Q4 2025.
