TASI surges 1.7% to 11,134 pts; turnover hits SAR 6.8B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.7%, or 185 points, higher at 11,134 points today, Jan. 22, recording its highest close in nearly two and a half months.

Total turnover reached about SAR 6.8 billion.

The benchmark opened at 10,966 points, reaching a high of 11,134 and a low of 10,964 during the session.

With today’s gain, the index rose by about 640 points, or 6.1 percent, since the start of 2026, compared with last year’s close.

Al Rajhi Bank and Saudi Aramco rose to SAR105.90 (+3%) and SAR 25.24 (+1%), respectively.

Saudi German Health was the top gainer, rising by 10% to SAR 36.30. Nearly 3.3 million shares were traded.

Bupa Arabia, Alkhorayef Water, Derayah Financial, Tadawul Group, Al Othaim, Tawuniya, Rasan, and ACWA Power increased between 4% and 8%.

Meanwhile, Aldrees fell by 4% to SAR 121.80, with about 1.6 million shares worth nearly SAR 200 million changing hands. The company released its Q4 2025 results and recommended dividend for 2025.
