TASI reverses gains, falls 1.6% to 10,831 pts
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.6%, or 176 points, lower at 10,831 points today, March 9.
Total turnover reached SAR 7.1 billion.
The decline came after the market posted gains for five consecutive sessions, even as oil prices climbed above $100 per barrel amid the Middle East conflict and the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz.
The drop in the index coincided with losses in Asian and European markets, while US stock futures pointed to a possible weaker opening.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank and SNB declined by 4% to SAR 98.80 and SAR 39.02, respectively.
Nayifat fell by 7% to SAR 10.57, recording its lowest price since listing, after reporting Q4 2025 losses.
MBC Group led the decliners, falling by more than 8%.
