TASI rises 0.2% to 10,982 pts; turnover at SAR 4.7B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.2%, or 26 points, higher at 10,982 points today, May 19.

Total turnover reached SAR 4.7 billion.

The index recorded highs of 10,989 and lows of 10,944.

Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank increased 1% to SAR 27.96 and SAR 66.90, respectively.

SASCO was the top gainer, climbing 10% to SAR 46.42, with about 1.5 million shares traded.

NADEC, Savola and TADCO jumped between 4% and 6%.

Americana rose 2% to close at SAR 1.90, after announcing a partnership with ADNOC Distribution to open 200 quick-service restaurants.
