TASI rises 0.4% to 10,973 pts; turnover at SAR 5.7B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.4%, or 44 points, higher at 10,973 points today, June 8.
Total turnover reached about SAR 5.7 billion.
The index recorded highs of 10,982 and lows of 10,880.
Regional geopolitical tensions resurfaced, driving oil prices higher.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco edged up 1% to SAR 27.16.
CGS was the top gainer, rising 8% to SAR 8.18. NCLE gained 7%.
Saudi Steel Pipe, Maharah, Banan, Tawuniya, Al Mawarid, MIS, CATRION, Saudi Cable and Al Yamamah Steel increased between 2% and 4%.
Company Prices
Meanwhile, Kingdom Holding fell 4% to SAR 13.55, with nearly 4 million shares traded.
Aldawaa, AMAK, SAICO, Gulf Union Alahlia, Maaden and Miahona declined between 2% and 4%.
