TASI falls 0.7% to 10,933 pts, turnover at SAR 4.2B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.7%, or 74 points, lower at 10,933 points today, June 25, recording the lowest close in more than two weeks.

Total turnover reached nearly SAR 4.2 billion.

The index recorded highs of 10,995 and lows of 10,933.

Saudi Aramco fell 1% to SAR 26.14, coinciding with the continued decline in global oil prices.

Kingdom Holding and Burgerizzr closed at SAR 11.67 (-3%) and SAR 7.41 (-1%) respectively, after going ex-dividend.

Dar Al Arkan, SARCO, Bawan, Makkah Construction, TADCO and DBS fell by percentages ranging between 4 and 6%.

Sipchem jumped 5% to SAR 14.70 after it received the Energy Ministry’s nod for feedstock allocation for its new methanol plant.

Naseej topped the list of companies, surging 10%.
