TASI rises 0.3% to 11,260 pts, records highest close in 4 months

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 0.3%, or 28 points, to 11,260 points today, Aug. 26, recording its highest close in more than four months.

Total turnover stood at about SAR 5.7 billion.

The index recorded a high of 11,286 and a low of 11,209 points.

Saudi National Bank rose 1% to SAR 43.40.

Alinma Bank, Mobily, Maaden, Almarai, Dar Al Arkan, stc, BSF, Bank Albilad and Riyad Bank gained between 1% and 4%.

Saudi Enaya and Amana Insurance were top gainers, rising 10%.

Acwa closed at SAR 196.80 (-0.3%) after going ex-dividend.

MIS declined 3% to SAR 311.40 amid profit-taking. The stock recorded a high of SAR 338 earlier in the day.
