TASI falls 0.3% to 11,127 pts, turnover at SAR 10.3B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.3%, or 31 points, lower at 11,127 points today, Aug. 31.

Total turnover stood at about SAR 10.3 billion.

The index recorded a high of 11,192 and a low of 11,127.

MSCI implemented its changes today following the periodic review of its indices announced on Aug. 13.

Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank fell less than 1% to SAR 26.06 and SAR 67.45, respectively.

Maaden dropped 2% to SAR 66.10.

Naseej was the top decliner, falling 10%. The company announced the rights trading and subscription period for new shares.

Masar fell 5% to SAR 17.08, with about 9 million shares worth more than SAR 150 million changing hands.

First Mills closed at SAR 51.90 (-4%) after going ex-dividend.

Ladun dropped 5% to SAR 2.43 on TASI debut, with nearly 8 million shares traded.
