TASI falls 0.6% to 10,682 pts, records lowest close in nearly 2 months

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.6%, or 68 points, lower at 10,682 points today, Sept. 21, recording its lowest close since the end of July.

Total turnover stood at about SAR 3.4 billion.

The index recorded a high of 10,762 (+12 points compared to Sept. 20 close) and a low of 10,674.

Saudi Aramco fell 1% to SAR 25.68.

Acwa declined 3% to SAR 169, with trading volume reaching about 450,000 shares. The stock has lost nearly 12% since the start of the month.

Cenomi Centers, Al Arabia, Riyadh Cement, Emaar EC, SADADCO, Saleh Al-Rashed and SRMG dropped between 4% and 6%.

Meanwhile, AYYAN was the top gainer, rising 9% to SAR 9.25.

Equipment House rose 6% to SAR 27.72. The company’s board recommended repurchasing up to 3 million shares to be held as treasury shares.

AlAhli REIT 1 closed at SAR 6.38 (-4%) after going ex-dividend.
