TASI falls 0.8% to 10,599 pts, turnover at SAR 3.5B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.8%, or 82 points, lower at 10,599 points today, Sept. 24, recording the lowest close in nearly two months.

Total turnover reached nearly SAR 3.5 billion.

The index recorded a high of 10,696 and a low of 10,597.

Al Rajhi Bank and Maaden fell to SAR 63.15 (-2%) and SAR 61.10 (-3%), respectively.

Almarai, BSF, stc, Bank Albilad, Sabic, SAB, Sulaiman Al Habib, Makkah Construction and Saudi Energy declined between 1% and 4%.

Saudi Fisheries was the top decliner, falling 10%, followed by Naseej (-8%) and Al Arabia (-4%).

Qassim Cement closed at SAR 43.80 (-2%) after going ex-dividend.
