US rig count hits 23-week high: Baker Hughes

The US drilling rig count rose three units to 506 in the week ended March 1, Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

 

This is the highest level since Sept. 22, 2023, when it reached 507.

 

Meanwhile, the gas rig count fell four units to 119 in the week.
