Total operating income rose 8.8% YoY to SAR 39.2 billion, supported by a 5.2% increase in net special commission income and a 12.7% rise in net fee income from banking services, alongside higher net exchange income and increased investment income.
Total operating expenses declined 9.4% to SAR 10.9 billion, mainly due to lower rent and premises-related expenses, reduced depreciation and amortization of property, equipment, software and right-of-use assets, and a 32.2% drop in other general and administrative expenses.
Net impairment charges for expected credit losses increased by 1.5% during the year.
