Two killed in fire at Dammam Second Industrial City

A fire broke out Wednesday night in a furnace at Dammam Second Industrial City, killing two people and injuring five others, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

 

The fire, which was limited to a cylindrical furnace at a steel recycling plant, affected an area of 400 square meters before being contained by the region’s civil defense.

 

Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire, it was reported.
