Telecom regulator slaps STC, Mobily, Zain Saudi with SAR 38 mln fines

The Saudi Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) imposed fines of over SAR 38 million on the Kingdom’s three major telecom service providers for violations, it said on Thursday.

 

Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) was fined a total of SAR 9.96 million for violations of the telecom system.

 

Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) was fined more than SAR 17 million, while Saudi Zain was fined SAR 11.53 million, the regulator said.
