The wider losses were attributed to recording losses from financial assets at fair value through profit or loss, compared to the same period last year, coupled with a year-on-year (YoY) decline in the share of results from associates.

Tihama also cited decreased other income for 9M 2025, mainly due to the absence of bank deposits for the nine-mont period, compared to 9M 2024.

However, this downturn was offset by generating gains from discontinued operations in 9M 2025, resulting from a Zakat assessment settlement by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) for one of the discontinued subsidiaries, compared to the same period of the previous year, alongside a YoY pullback in Zakat expenses.
