TASI gains 0.9% to 12,723 points, hits highest since June 2022
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.9%, or 109 points, higher at 12,723 points today, March 13, reaching its highest level since June 2022.
The total traded value reached nearly SAR 11.4 billion.
The benchmark index gained more than 750 points, or 6.3%, since the beginning of the year.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank rose 2% to SAR 86.90, with about 8 million shares worth SAR 700 million traded.
Chemical, Amana Insurance, and Al Arabia were the top gainers, rising nearly 10%.
Elm, Riyadh Cables, Tawuniya, Makkah Construction, Al Rajhi Takaful, MEDGULF and Saudi Steel Pipe increased between 5% and 8%.
ACWA Power closed at SAR 306.80 (+3%), recording the highest closing since its listing.
Walaa Insurance jumped 5% to SAR 27.80, as nearly seven million shares worth SAR 200 million changed hands. The insurer reported a profit of SAR 45.3 million in Q4 2023, compared to a loss a year ago.

On the other hand, SAB, SABIC, Maaden, stc, Sipchem, SABIC Agri-Nutrients, Alujain and Saudi Kayan declined between 1% and 2%.
