TASI falls 0.6% to 10,990 points, total turnover at SAR 10.2B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.6%, or 62 points, lower at 10,990 points today, May 29.
Total turnover reached about SAR 10.2 billion.
MSCI implemented its changes to the market as per its quarterly review of indices carried out on May 14.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank fell by 2% to SAR 25 and SAR 91.10, respectively.
ACWA Power, Elm, UCIC, CATRION, Makkah Construction, Bank Albilad and Jabal Omar declined between 2% and 6%.
Raydan fell 2% to SAR 14.68, reaching its lowest close since listing. The company’s board recommended reducing capital and subsequently increasing it through a rights issue.

On the other hand, SIIG rose 4% to SAR 16.54 after the company received approval from the Ministry of Energy to allocate feedstock for its project in Jubail Industrial City.
Ataa gained by more than 3%.
East Pipes surged 8% to SAR 124, with nearly 440,000 shares traded.
Saudi Re’s was the top gainer, rising by more than 9%.
Bonyan REIT closed at SAR 9.27 (-2%) after going ex-dividend.
