TASI reverses gains, closes 0.3% lower at 10,574 pts
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 0.3%, or 36 points, to end at 10,574 points today, June 22, recording its lowest close since October 2023.
Total turnover reached about SAR 3.7 billion.
The index rose by about 120 points, or 1.1%, to hit an intraday high of 10,731 points before reversing gains.
The session was marked by heightened volatility due to rising geopolitical tensions following US airstrikes on nuclear facilities in Iran earlier today.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank fell by more than 1% to SAR 90.10.
ACWA Power, Maaden, Saudi National Bank, Jabal Omar, Makkah Construction, Dar Al Arkan, SABIC AN, SRMG, Saudi Group, Masar, and MBC Group declined between 1% and 4%.
The newly-listed flynas closed at SAR 75.20 (-4%). Nearly 6 million shares valued at SAR 450 million changed hands.

Meanwhile, Al Sagr was the top gainer, rising 10% to SAR 12.36. The company announced the lifting of the suspension and the resumption of sales of the compulsory vehicle insurance product.
Alinma Bank, Sulaiman Al Habib, Mobily, Riyad Bank, Albilad Bank, and SABIC rose by 1% to 2%.
Alistithmar REIT surged by 10% to close at SAR 8.25.
