Banking sector pulls TASI down by 0.6% to 10,808 pts
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.6%, or 66 points, lower at 10,808 points today, Aug. 27.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 4 billion.
Market Index
The banking sector led the market’s decline. Saudi National Bank was the top decliner, falling 3% to SAR 35.02, with nearly 7.2 million shares, valued at over SAR 250 million, changing hands.
Al Rajhi Bank closed at SAR 95.20 (-1%).
SAB, Arab National Bank, Bank Albilad, Riyad Bank, and BSF slipped between 1% and 4%.
