TASI rises 0.1% to 11,697 pts, turnover at SAR 6.1B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 0.1%, or 14 points, to 11,697 points today, Oct. 16.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 6.1 billion.
The benchmark opened at 11,683 points, touching a high of 11,724 points and a low of 11,678 points during the session.

Market Index

Saudi Aramco rose 1% to SAR 25.30.
 
SABIC, Al Akaria, SABIC AN, Alsaif Gallery, Leejam, and Almoosa gained between 1% and 4%.
 
Advanced closed at SAR 36.58 (+3%) following the announcement of the financial results.  The stock recently overtook Alujain shares for the first time in a year.
 
Tihama topped the market gainer, rising 10% to SAR 16.61. The Capital Market Authority approved the company’s request to reduce its capital by 42.7%.
