TASI falls 0.5% to 10,591 pts, turnover at SAR 2.1B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 0.5%, or 50 points, to 10,591 points today, Nov. 30, recording its lowest close in nearly two and a half months.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 2.1 billion.
The index fell by more than 100 points to 10,576 points earlier in the day, before recouping losses.
With today’s decline, the index’s losses this month reached more than 1,060 points, or 9.1%, compared to its October close. This is the largest monthly loss for the index since June 2022, when it fell about 1,400 points, or 11%.
The benchmark opened at 10,651 points, touched a high of 10,687 points, and slipped to a low of 10,588 points during the session.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco fell by less than 1% to SAR 24.54.
Maaden, SABIC, Mobily, Masar, Jarir, Savola Group, Saudi Electric, and Jabal Omar declined between 2% and 4%.
Tihama was the top decliner, dropping 8%. Alkhaleej Training slumped more than 7%.
