TASI falls 1.3% to 10,453 pts, lowest close in 3 months

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 1.3%, or 137 points, to 10,453 points today, Dec. 16, recording its lowest close in three months.
 
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 3.6 billion.
 
The benchmark opened at 10,601 points, touched a high of 10,609 points, and slipped to a low of 10,450 points.
 
With today’s decline, the index’s losses since the beginning of the year reached about 1,600 points, down more than 13% from the close of 2024.
 
Oil prices fell by about 2%, with Brent breaking below $60 a barrel for the first time since last May.

Market Index

Most of the stocks declined. Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank closed at SAR 23.75 (-1%) and SAR 95.60 (-2%), respectively.
 
Maaden, SNB, ACWA Power, SABIC AN, SABIC, Masar, Mobily, Elm, Alinma Bank, Bank Albilad, Almarai, Tasnee, Jabal Omar, Seera and Petro Rabigh fell between 1% and 5%.
 
CHUBB was the top decliner, falling by more than 5%.

Arabian Drilling, Luberef and GAS each gained by 1%.
 
AlAhli REIT 1 jumped by 4% to SAR 6.52 after leasing Qbic Plaza, one of its assets, for five years for SAR 207 million, including VAT.
