TASI adds 0.4% to 10,596 pts; traded value at SAR 3.4B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 0.4%, or 44 points, to 10,596 points today, Dec. 23.

Total traded value reached nearly SAR 3.4 billion.

The benchmark opened at 10,544 points, touched a high of 10,596, and fell to a low of 10,528.

Al Rajhi Bank gained nearly 1% to SAR 97.95. SNB finished 2% up at SAR 38.04.

Likewise, Alinma Bank, BSF, Riyadh Cables, Jabal Omar, Riyad Bank, Bank Albilad and SEC rose between 1% and 3%.

Almasar Alshamil and Saudi Cable led today’s gainers, surging 10% each.

UCIC also jumped 4%.

Meanwhile, Emaar EC dropped 4% to the lowest level since debut at SAR 10.32, after about 660,000 shares changed hands. The company’s shareholders also greenlit a capital hike through debt conversion.

Gulf Union Alahlia, Derayah, SRMG, Abo Moati, Tasheel, and flynas shed between 1% and 2%.
