TASI drops 1.9% to 11,167 pts, turnover at SAR 4.4B
Saudi Arabia's benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 1.9% (-215 points) to close today, Feb. 1, at 11,167 points, with a turnover of approximately SAR 4.4 billion.
The benchmark opened at 11,345 points, touched a high of 11,372 points, and slipped to a low of 11,089 points.
The Saudi market has been opened today to all categories of foreign investors, allowing them to invest directly.
Market Index
Most stocks declined, led by Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank that dropped 2% and 1% to SAR 25.18 and SAR 106.50, respectively.
Maaden and AMAK both fell by 10%.
Global gold prices recorded losses exceeding 10% by the end of last week, following the strong gains posted during January.
Shares of Saudi National Bank, Alinma Bank, SABIC, Almarai, Mobily, Bank Albilad, Riyad Bank, and BSF closed lower, falling between 1% and 4%.
NADEC slid 6% to SAR 18.57, with a traded volume of around 1.6 million shares, as the company posted a decline in the fourth-quarter 2025 profits.
