TASI falls 1.9% to 10,947 pts; turnover hits SAR 4.8B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 1.9%, or 208 points, to 10,947 points today, Feb. 19, the lowest close in about a month.

Total turnover reached about SAR 4.8 billion.

The benchmark recorded a high of 11,147 and a low of 10,930.

The market will be closed on Sunday, Feb. 22, for the Founding Day holiday, with trading resuming on Monday, Feb. 23.

Al Rajhi Bank fell by 3% to SAR 102. SNB and Acwa closed at SAR 41.90 (-2%) and SAR 174.10 (-3%), respectively.

Al Akaria, Leejam, SASCO, Tadawul Group, Saudi Kayan and Jabal Omar declined by between 4% and 6%.

Abo Moati and Care were top decliners, falling by 9%.
