Aramco drags TASI down 1.3% to 10,709 pts; turnover hits SAR 6.6B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.3%, or 139 points, lower at 10,709 points today, Feb. 26, recording the lowest close in a month and a half.
 
Total turnover reached about SAR 6.6 billion.
 
MSCI implemented changes to the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) today in line with its periodic index review announced on Feb. 11.
 
The index recorded a high of 10,831 and a low of 10,704.
 
The benchmark has declined by almost 673 points, or 5.9%, since the start of February 2026 compared with its level at the end of January.

Market Index

Aramco weighed on the index, falling 3% to SAR 24.96. The company announced structural damage to a small part of the delivery system at the Juaymah natural gas liquids terminal and cancellation of scheduled propane and butane deliveries.
 
Al Rajhi Bank, SNB, Maaden, Acwa, SABIC, Sulaiman Al Habib, stc, SABIC AN and Mobily declined between 1% and 3%.
 
SRMG dropped nearly 10%, with approximately 2.6 million shares worth nearly SAR 220 million changing hands.
