TASI edges up 0.1% to 10,489 pts despite volatility

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.1%, or 13 points, higher at 10,489 points today, March 2.
 
Total turnover reached SAR 7.2 billion.
 
Oil prices rose significantly today as the conflict involving the US, Israel and Iran intensified, alongside attacks targeting Gulf countries.
 
The growing tensions have heightened investor concerns over supply concerns and the stability of supply chains in one of the world’s major energy corridors, lifting crude futures amid safe-haven demand and fears of potential disruptions to production and shipping.

Market Index

Saudi Aramco rose 2% to SAR 26.22, mirroring a global oil price rally.
 
Acwa, Maaden, SABIC AN, BSF, and Saudi Electricity increased between 1% and 3%.
Bahri jumped by 5%.
 
Electrical Industries rose by more than 4% after Q4 2025 results were announced.
 
Albilad Gold ETF rose by 8% to SAR 32.13 before trading was suspended. Nearly 1.4 million units were traded.

Avalon Pharma closed at SAR 97.70 (-5%) after going ex-dividend.
