Aramco drives TASI up by 0.7% amid oil rally
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.7%, or 77 points, higher at 10,566 points today, March 3.
Total turnover reached SAR 5.7 billion.
The index recorded a high of 10,570 and a low of 10,470 during the day.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco climbed 2% to close at SAR 26.72, recording its highest close in nearly a year. More than 23 million shares changed hands. The increase comes amid rising oil prices in global markets, with Brent surging by about 8% to exceed $84 a barrel.
SABIC closed at SAR 54.40 (+4%). Yansab and SABIC AN rose by 10% and 5%, respectively.
GASCO jumped by nearly 10%.
Saudi Energy and Riyadh Development rose to SAR 13.77 (+2%) and SAR 18.01 (+4%), respectively, following the announcement of financial results and distributions.
Electrical Industries rose by more than 5%.
