Market Index
Saudi Aramco led the gainer, climbing 4% to SAR 26.94, recording its highest closing price in a year, with nearly 34 million shares worth over SAR 900 million traded.
The stock gained as oil prices surged above $92 a barrel amid growing conflict between Iran and the US-Israel, raising concerns about supply disruptions after the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which handles almost 20% of global oil trade.
Saudi Kayan, Alujain, Chemanol, Yansab, Petro Rabigh, Al Rajhi Takaful, Savola Group, and GACO rose by almost 10%.
Al Rajhi Bank and SABIC closed at SAR 102.80 (+2%) and SAR 59.70 (+8%), respectively.
Dar Al Arkan rose by 4% to SAR 19.40 after announcing its Q4 2025 results, which exceeded market expectations.
Sport Clubs and Astra rose by 2% following the announcement of financial results.
