TASI rises 2.3% to 11,339 pts; turnover at SAR 8.4B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 2.3%, or 251 points, to 11,339 points today, April 8, recording the highest close in more than two months.
 
Total turnover reached SAR 8.4 billion.
 
The index recorded highs of 11,339 and lows of 11,215.
 
The US and Iran reached an agreement for a two-week ceasefire, conditional on the full, immediate and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Market Index

Most stocks rose, led by Al Rajhi Bank, which rose 3% to SAR 107.70, with trading volume reaching about 6 million shares.
Acwa and Maaden gained by 8% to SAR 173.50 and SAR 70, respectively.
SNB, Sulaiman Al Habib, Alinma Bank, stc, Mobily, SAB, and Bank Albilad increased between 1% and 4%.
eXtra and Tasheel closed at SAR 82.40 (+3%) and SAR 126.50 (+2%), respectively, after announcing Q1 2026 results.
Flynas, Riyadh Cables, UCA, Alasmak, Gulf General, Saudi Chemical, GO Telecom and SRMG rose between 8% and 10%.
