TASI falls 0.9% to 11,245 pts, turnover at SAR 5B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.9%, or 100 points, lower at 11,245 points today, April 22.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 5 billion.
With today’s drop, the index has declined for a fifth straight session, losing nearly 340 points, or 3%, overall.
The index recorded highs of 11,355 and lows of 11,243.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank fell by 2% to SAR 70.25 while Bank Albilad declined by 4%.
Almarai and SAB slipped 3% to close at SAR 42.72 and SAR 35.76, respectively, after going ex-dividend.
Advanced, Sadr, SRMG, Bawan, SIIG and Saudi Group declined between 2% and 4%.
Aldawaa was the top decliner, down 6%.
