TASI falls 0.3% to 10,968 pts, turnover slips to lowest since Jan. at SAR 2.9B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.3%, or 28 points, lower at 10,968 points today, May 17.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 2.9 billion—the lowest since January.
The index hit an intraday high at 10,996 points and low at 10,947 points.
Market Index
Market heavyweights Maaden and SABIC dropped 2% each to SAR 62.70 and SAR 59.40, respectively.
Rasan, SASCO, Abo Moati, SGS, Tanmiah and MIS ended the trading today with declines ranging between 3% and 4%.
GIG plunged 5% to SAR 26.96 as the stock traded ex-dividend today.
