TASI rises 0.4% to 11,028 in last session before Eid Al-Adha break
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.4%, or 42 points, higher at 11,028 points today, May 21.
Total turnover reached SAR 11.1 billion.
The index recorded highs of 11,032 and lows of 10,973.
Trading will be suspended from the end of today’s session due to the Eid Al-Adha holiday and will resume on May 31.
MSCI periodic review-related trades were executed today ahead of the scheduled implementation at the close of trading on May 29, which falls on a Friday and coincides with the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco rose less than 1% to SAR 27.90, while SNB jumped 2% to SAR 39.40.
Kingdom Holding jumped 8% to SAR 12.35 after SpaceX filed for an IPO in which the company holds a stake.
Cenomi Retail surged 7% to SAR13.37 riyals.
DBS gained 3% to SAR 12.87 in its second trading session after trading between SAR 12.62 and SAR 14.12 during the day. Nearly 37 million shares valued at SAR 500 million changed hands.

Tasheel recorded its lowest closing price since listing at SAR 39.90 (-3%).
Raydan closed at SAR 13.04 (-2%) after the board recommended capital reduction to offset accumulated losses.
Alkhabeer Growth and Income Traded Fund increased by more than 6% following the Capital Market Authority’s approval to delist and convert into an open-ended public investment fund.
